Two IT initiatives are currently top of mind for organizations across the globe: big data analytics and cloud computing. Big data analytics offers the promise of providing valuable insights that can create competitive advantage, spark new innovations, and drive increased revenues. As a delivery model for IT services, cloud computing has the potential to enhance business agility and productivity while enabling greater efficiencies and reducing costs. Both technologies continue to evolve. Organizations are moving beyond questions of what and how to store big data to addressing how to derive meaningful analytics that respond to real business needs. As cloud computing continues to mature, a growing number of enterprises are building efficient and agile cloud environments, and cloud providers continue to expand service offerings. It makes sense, then, that IT organizations should look to cloud computing as the structure to support their big data projects. Big data environments require clusters of servers to support the tools that process the large volumes, high velocity, and varied formats of big data. Clouds are already deployed on pools of server, storage, and networking resources and can scale up or down as needed. Cloud computing offers a cost-effective way to support big data technologies and the advanced analytics applications that can drive business value.
Big data and cloud and emerging technologies in my own opinion in line with each other, each of them needs the other to complete the legality of this system.
Agreed with the brothers may Ajabo adequate answer
Thanks for the question.
Big data and Cloud are emerging technologies. I think they both converge because cloud holds the data unlimited.
Era of technology we should not expect that always a innovation will be lasting solution. Every time new innovation is replacing old one and it is becoming useful to people too. Current stage Cloud and big data are real convergence of technological innovations. But this is not going to end here, whats the next and how we will adopt it and what type of effect will be in our life? These are important things so technological innovation are means of convergence of socioeconomic and technological factor of time being. in terms of replacement of old data storage system, computing and accessibility big data and cloud became convergence as of now, but it will not be limited here we should be ready for upcoming innovation that may prove that even current innovations were not enough for human being need.
Thanks for your invitation
The challenge facing companies today is the speed to keep up with the progress and benefit from it fully, the success of the decisions necessarily depends on how much data and trust the data, so the traditional transportation methods of the data cannot keep pace with the rapid development of the vast amount needed in the size of the data, cloud computing become a prevailing solution for data processing, storage and distribution, Is a feature all companies can benefit from this advanced technology in the field of data, and special companies that need a tremendous amount of Data, analysis, processing, and storage.
Regards.
Simply : Cloud with its feature ( computing ) is a devise for establishing a root for using big data .
Gathering and analyzing Big Data need exact & complicated computing built in Cloud .
Agree with Mr.Vinod Jetley's answer.
I AGREE WITH ALL ANSWERS GIVEN
VJ sir, your answer is the good answer for your question:-)
Of course Cloud is the new technology for the purpose resource sharing and utilization, like getting optimal solution in a cheaper cost i.e cost effective.
Big Data is the technology mainly for the purpose of unstructured huge data Analysis.
My2 cents addition to VJ sir's answer.
Thanks Mr Vinod:
One area where big data is expected to be a game changer is in cloud adoption. A recent Technology Business Review study showed that big data analytics has helped in significantly driving the revenues of the top cloud service providers over the past few years.
