1. He was robbed
2. His watch was stolen
the the difference between
1. He was robbed.
2. His watch was stolen.
To me, 'rob' is used when force is used. E.g. He was robbed
Rob is mostly connected with banks and high amount of money, while stealing could happen from nonorganized gang like a one pearson and to any small materials or money.
Rob and steal both mean ‘take something from someone without permission’.
Rob focuses on the place or person from which the thing is taken
steal is always used together with an object the object that was taken.
The thief has stolen the money .Someone stole my wallet yesterda
Some men robbed a bank last night .
The gang robbed and killed the shop owne
rob In knowing people
steal in secret
A difficult question, but I think that the difference between them is rob of private things and steal of public things
we say rob when we mention the person or the place that is stolen but we say steal when we mention the stolen thing itselffor exampleThe thief robbed the bankThe thief stole the money from the bank
when one is robbed is when they are swindled or scammed out of their valuables with the use of force or coersion,to steal is when your valuables are taken from you without force or coersion or without your knowledge, they are synonimous.
