No. You need practical experience too. It's usually impossible to excel at something before you've actually done it.

There are several benefits to using instructor-led training, compared with other types of training. First, unlike on-the-job training Add to My Personal Learning Plan (which is typically one-on-one), instructor-led training allows you to instruct a larger group at once. This means that you can use a variety of techniques such as role-playing, and exercises and games to enhance the learning experience. Teams may also learn better with instructor-led training, because they can share ideas, work in groups, and debate with their peers. It's also useful for bonding, team building, and team problem solving. All of these means that instructor-led training can have greater long-term benefits than one-on-one or online training and because people are in a controlled space for a fixed period of time, you have the opportunity to train them without them being distracted by competing demands. Instructor led training is also useful when you're trying to keep training costs down for middle sized groups, instructor-led training can be less expensive than other types of training.

Any training can be beneficial only if it is understood well and implemented practically. Training in theories do not really help in businesses. The learning should be executed and to understand it well and to face real problems of it. Facing real problems and able to solve them proves that your training is worth learning

No , I think personal interaction in a class room like settling , is pivitol to complete the training given over online sessions. Live interaction can be used quite effectively to enhance & test situational competincies ,which is vital .

from my experience in integrating MOOC with professional development program ,having coaches who follow up implementation is critical ,however,an employee with a growth mind set who can put theory into paractice and  reflect on his practices can benefit from online courses only

In as much as internet is very important communication tool today and E- learning/online study is fast becoming the norm of modern time, we cannot write off the role of physical learning/face to face training and how it has helped achieved goals and vision of organizations in time past before the spread of the later.

The challenges of online learning/training is still on the high side so might still be quite difficult to fully achieve organizational management via online training platform as some of it's challenges still need to be addressed.

Though may cost lesser than a physical training but things like like expressions, body language, interaction and participatory learning which are very essential in organizational management are not yet achievable via online training platform thereby bringing this limitation for a maximum result.
