No , I think personal interaction in a class room like settling , is pivitol to complete the training given over online sessions. Live interaction can be used quite effectively to enhance & test situational competincies ,which is vital .
I don't have favor for online training because I am personally satisfied for practical learning/ training.
from my experience in integrating MOOC with professional development program ,having coaches who follow up implementation is critical ,however,an employee with a growth mind set who can put theory into paractice and reflect on his practices can benefit from online courses only
In as much as internet is very important communication tool today and E- learning/online study is fast becoming the norm of modern time, we cannot write off the role of physical learning/face to face training and how it has helped achieved goals and vision of organizations in time past before the spread of the later.
The challenges of online learning/training is still on the high side so might still be quite difficult to fully achieve organizational management via online training platform as some of it's challenges still need to be addressed.
Though may cost lesser than a physical training but things like like expressions, body language, interaction and participatory learning which are very essential in organizational management are not yet achievable via online training platform thereby bringing this limitation for a maximum result.
I AGREE WITH Cost Accountant
it helps a lot but need to have customized training session experience also for enrich learning.
