What is "Dubai-Expo-2020" and what is the mission of this historical event?

World Expos are a key meeting point for the global community to share innovations and make progress on issues of international importance such as the global economy, sustainable development and improved quality of life for the world’s population.

Every five years, World Expos attract millions of visitors who explore and discover pavilions, exhibitions and cultural events staged by hundreds of participants including nations, international organizations and businesses.

Dubai, UAE will be the host city for the2020 World Expo (World Fair) exhibition (exposition), to be held from October2020 to April2021, with the theme slogan "Connecting Minds, Creating the Future."

This World Expo is held every5 years, in years ending with a '0' or a '5', and lasts for6 months. 

The World Expo has never been held in the Middle East.

The UAE believes in the unique convening power of the World Expo to tackle and provide solutions to the world’s major challenges of today and tomorrow and as such views the World Expo as an incredible opportunity. Dubai Expo2020 would be the most international World Expo in history with70% of the25 million visitors, visiting from outside the host nation, providing participants and visitors alike with unprecedented global exposure and opportunities to develop global partnerships and meet potential

Dubai’s World Expo is basically a platform for investors and businessman having theme of connecting Minds, that will lead to creating the future, spirit of partnership and co-operation in every business sector this will help out making new paths of development and innovation.

Expo2020 Dubai is expected to attract25 million visits,70 per cent of which will be from overseas. 

The first World Expo was back in the18 century and it took place in London in1851. Interestingly, ketchup was one of the top victorious inventions that was first introduced to the world in1876  World Expo that was held in the United States and nowadays Ketchup is one of the most demanding and fast moving goods internationally. Dubai2020 is going to be a new history in the making. 

Dubai-Expo-2020 is among the awaited events of almost all people from different countries which stage the world fair and aims to promote and invite investors from all over the world. Its mission is to promote awareness of each countries industry opportunity and provides venue for exposure of the countries' prideful products.
