I think it should be when you can no longer provide the customer with the high level of customer service. The reasons for this could differ for everyone, whether its you realise you dont have the drive to sell, sell, sell or issues with the company policies or unrealistic targets - it is something to think long and hard about, it could even be the case that a complete change in career is needed. Once you are happy in a job, everyone including yourself and everyone you work with benefits.
