Managerial accountants provide all financial and non financial information that can assist the management in planning and controlling the activities of the business and making the most appropriate decisions. Some examples of the financial information they may provide

1. Estimates/forecasts of Costs and revenues for future periods 

2. Actual  costs and revenues

3. Comparison of actual and planned costs & revenues ( variances and ratios)

4. Budgets for the future periods and comparisons of actual costs and revenues with budgets for control

5. Cost accumalation data for pricing 

These are a few examples of the financial information that management accountants provide however the role also involves many other types of financial and non financial data and information that the management may require on a day to day basis to perform its role
