Good evening. I am disagree with you, visual merchandise is not only important for retail but also important for every product. In my opinion, visual merchandise is the first step to approach customer. Since, when any customer can see the product then he'll/she'll try to explore more about it even if they are not in planning to buy it. Next step is touch and feel which make the customer's mind to buy it.

VM is really important in retail because sometimes customers dont need to know any information about product they see it and they want it...its increasing sales...In my experience VM can do a real miracles... thats why it is really important to each member of team in retail stores be little bit VM specialist and have a feelings for it...it does make a difference when you coming to the store which is tidy, colors and products are matching and looks nice together, then when you coming to some mess store and all is mix together, so you have no idea where to find and how to find what you need...
