Is it possible to teach other school subjects through art and crafts?

Curriculum places great emphasis on craft work.  From kindergarten through to Class8 I was taught a new craft each year:  in class one I was taught to knit, but before knitting we all made our own knitting needles. The rest of the craft curriculum includes: felt-making from fleeces, felt slipper from felt, crocheting music cases, pottery, green woodwork, weaving, gardening, painting, brick making, stone carving, metalwork, dressmaking, set-design and building, candle making and wax modelling. My love of crafts led me to create my own workshop in which I make items out of wood.  Along with my brother, I had a stall at the Steiner School Advent Fair were we sold wooden spoons, bowls, chopping boards and ladles. Even if  children have a problem with learning disabilities it will help them build up on their skills, Social , emotional and even physical.

 

 

It is not 100% useful in the classroom teaching in all subjects.
if we follow this method in all subjects then we can not get the specific objectives.

room teacher can use other schol atr for teachnig children from1-3 grade , and also some other subjects like  geography ,use  teachin aids  but you can teach art to student special who  like arts  and acting  , so they will be preofessional after university

Arts and crafts are a means of giving a child hands on experience.
There are different ways that children learn, and kinetics is one of them.
Most children learn through this method and it is also great for visual learners too.
Arts and crafts make learning subject content fun and is proven to be effective.
The project shows the content that was learned and also allows a child to be creative, which is important.
Arts and crafts can be integrated into almost all subject areas too, depending on the child's education level.

Its is not only possible but in todays time its a necessity to teach children with diffrnt avads.I am a teacher of maths Sci arts n sst n before any new chapter I explain my students by using diffrent techniques .ie givin them characters drwing n tell them to colour it so the character sketch will b stick to their minds.n arts n crafts atrcts the atention of students as well...
