the best drive for storing Office data and any other important data for your computer logical drive(except c:/) is better then primary drive

coz in primary hard drive windows OS has been installed if any various attacked and any other OS program is corrupted the C:/ drive data will be lost, so logical drives are better for office files/any other data storage

it can be installed on C:/ it's not that big load on your partition if it was ( .docx .xls .xml .pptx ect..
) but if your talking about .pst  which is the best for you to redirect the storing data file from the default one(C:/) .
The best answer will be : Any other partition where the OS is installed in i , it could be D:/  H:/  it depends on what letter you assigned for  the new partition you created for the Hard Disk .

It will be better if you put your documents in any cloud servers

like (Dropbox).

I GUESS ITS D: EVEN IF ITS IN D: IF C: FORMATS IT WONT WORK , BUT I WILL RECOMEND D: BECAUSE IT WONT BE BURDEN ON C: MAKING YOUR MACHINE SLOWER IN PERFORMANCE

Hi - you have to find out first how is your disk divided, which portion will be alloted to the softwares to run, than find out, what is the name of the drive given which is safer so that any virus attack can not put the danger to all importnat MS-Office data you have, one portion of the disk is also allotted for backup of windows own softwares.....hope it helps.....

It should be D: drive.
For safety and Backup i prefer to use External drive not USB drive.
