During well testing (DST) we can always bleed off the annulus pressure and close the Select Tester Valve.
Control of high pressure of weel efflunet directly from downhole by downhole DST or Completion valves
High pressure of well effluent can be controled right from Dwownhole by the Downhole valves
Choke change to decrease the high pressure of the bottom
During drilling phase, we have Primary and Secondary barrier.
Primary Barrier is mud weight.
Secondary Barrier is BOP.
During production phase, we control the effluent pressure through choke.
i can control high pressure through my choke manifold
High pressure well effluent can be controlled with he choke manifold using a small choke size
normally downstream having three levels of valve
1.SSSV( sub surface safety valve )2. SSV-(surface safety valve) 3. Wing/Master valve
Down stream pressure control by SSSV which is controlled by well head control systems.
The most simple way to control high pressure from downhole is to use a downhole choke. in special cases, an intellignet completion would be used.
we can control the well effluent by choke manifold as a first control way.
the high pressure of well effluent can be controlled by flowing the well at different rates using choke manifold of different choke bean sizes or through a choke valve.
Also high pressure of well effluent could be controlled by injecting pressure reducing fluid and by installation of BOP (Blow Out Preventer)
Thirdly by using a Down hole safety valve
