The future of internal combustion engine is bleak. Would you agree that Next generation technology would be electrical motors?

Environmental pollution & ecological considerations would lead  to replacement of combustion engines in auto industry with electrical motors. Hybrid cars are first step for adoption of its adoption.

I agree to the fact that next generation technology would be electric motors because of the recent developments of use of electric motors in hybrid and fully electric cars like Tesla the technology is simple and easy to produce the use of lithium ion batteries has its own advantages over use of internal combustion engines as cars with electric motors do not release any kind of harmfull gases like carbon-di-oxide, carbon mono oxide, particulate matter, hydrocarbons etc. Though disposal of lithium ion batteries is not easy and has some toxic components but it can be contained through right disposal processes which is less polluting than the use of internal combustion engines, this technology is greener to use and does not possess any immediate threat to the enviroment, in this era of fast depleting fossil fuels, it is not feasible to rely on conventional energy resources at some point automotive industry has to switch to non-conventional energy resources for powering their vehicles.

OFFCOURSE THE FUTURE OF IC ENGINES IS BLEAK ,THE CURSE BEING HIGH USE OF FUEL AND LOW EFFICIENCY OF ENGINES (WORST ROAD WAYS), SO FROM NOW ON USE OF CNC IS THERE BUT AT LOW COST ....HENCE, THE ELECTRICAL MOTORS WILL BE USED AT A HIGH RATE SINCE IT HAS MANY A POSITIVE POINTS LIKE NO POLLUTION, GOOD EFFICIENCY, NOT GETTING INTO QUEUES FOR FUEL OR WASTING TIME, APART FROM THAT SAVING EARTH BY KEEPING POLLUTION AWAY.
