Dynamic IP acquired from DHCP server, while Static IP assigned manually by Network/System administrator or any person.

static ip address: is the addresses have been added by the network adminstrator manully in every devices that you want to be connected to the network .

dynamic ip address is using an protocol Dynamic Host Configration protocol (DHCP) that control the ip addresses and add ip address to device and remove it when the time expired .

Ip that changes everytime when system is shuted down is a dynamic it automatically configured, here you have pool of IP's from free IP aloted you.A constant IP that won't change on when system is powered off and again powered on. You can manually assign static IP on your system. But in both cases you get same speed

Dynamic IP will be changed when the DHCP lease expired, Static is binded or mapped with MAC address which will not changed automatically.

Static IP address is one where a user has one IP address assigned by ISP. It is beneficial for hosting gaming websites or using VPN for secure access to files from company network computer. It is also great if you use your computer as a server, as it should give your file server faster file uploads and downloads. However, it has a higher security risk because the address is always the same, thus easier to track.

Dynamic IP address is where a customer is assigned a different IP address each time he logs on to his computer. It also has less security risk as the computer is assigned a new IP address each time the customer logs on, they are cost effective and there is automatic network configuration.

when a device is assigned a static ip address, the address doesnot change.most devices use dynamic ip address, which are assigned by the network when they connect and change over type

Dynamic IP can be acquired by DHCP server. We can manually configure static IP, it does not get acquired automatically.

Static IPs are manuallly configured by NW Admin where as dynamic IPs are distributed by DHCP servers. The static IP remainsa same across the network untill changed by NW Admin where dynamic addresses are changed it;s like first come first server concepts.

Static ip addressing is a manual process of assiggning ip address per device and configuriging dns part on each netork attache device.

Dynamic ip addressing is letting DHCP service on the router or specific server to assigging ip addresses automaticlly for most of devices attache to the network including network configuration such as dns and defalult routing parts.

for dynamic addressing you can specify ip ranges.
