There are many tools used to accomplish this object. But the best solution is to create css file in visual studio, then writing specified css classes for each asp components.

In Visual Studio we can develop the boostrap template in fallowing way,Although Visual studio is largest IDE as compared to any other development tool so it support almost every feature from application to web or web to cloud computing....:)

It offers a number of features and benefits that can improve your users’ experience with your web site, whether you’re a novice at front-end design and development or an expert. Bootstrap is deployed as a set of CSS and JavaScript files, and is designed to help your website or application scale efficiently from phones to tablets to desktops. to get started with Bootstrap. If you’re starting a new web application in Visual Studio, you can choose the default starter template for ASP.NET5, in which case Bootstrap will come pre-installed:

Adding Bootstrap to an ASP.NET5 project is simply a matter of adding it to bower.json as a dependency:

You can also install bootstrap using one of several package managers, such as bower, npm, or NuGet. In each case, the process is essentially the same:

You can do that by add bootstrap and JQuery from nuget in visual studio tools and then use it

you can install it on master page manual and putting other files in right folders like css js ...etc.

I have better experience of working with bootstrap in visual studio 2015, so I shall like to tell you there are built in bootstrap templates available in 2015. You can modify them as per your choice by adding your css file on top of bootstrap and save it as new template.

in visual studio you can create new project and select the project type Asp.net

and donot choose empty then visual studio will create full design bootstrap with layout with empty 3 pages

There are a number of ways to do the same. Although i find the following procedure the easist. Please follow the following steps to incorporate Bootstrap in your visual studio project.

  1. Create an empty website/application.
  2. Once the solution is made, right click on the solution and then on 'Manage NuGet Packages.' You will see a number of packages that can be installed for your application.
  3. on the search box, type 'Bootstrap' and search for it. Once there click on install.

This will incorporate all the packages for Bootstrap in your project and you can make any changes in the files downloaded, if required.
