How do I fix wordpress permalink problem on IIS server? it is showing me domain.com/blog/index.php/year/month I want to take out index.php.

It's simple, you just need to install "URL rewrite module" on your server, then add some lines to web.config in Wordpress folder.

It should be set by following steps:

• Go to wp-admin
• Go to Settings > Permalinks section
• Choose required style from available on that page.
• Save Settings.
• That's all

This setting should resolve your issue. But keep in mind that blog folder should have Read and Write permissions because wordpress will try to create / edit .htaccess file of your blog.
