Based on your experience, what's preventing making HTML5/CSS/JS apps become the present, not the future?

In my opinion, because of incompatibility of some browsers HTML5, CSS and JS have took a break. Yes designers are considering cross-browser compatiblility techniques to accomplish tasks. But upto year2020 all browsers will be fully converted to HTML5

I think browsers incompatibilities are the break for HTML5/CSS3/JS

in future people will be able to mind control apps
