Writing from the heart Vs writing from intellectual reasoning; which piece has more impact on individuals?

writting for bussnis needs to writing from intellectual 

From my own perspective both are having their own meanning but it depands totally "to whom you are talking to?". If you are writing to someone from business point of view most of the content should be on the basis of intellactual reasoning with a push of personal touch. But at the same time if you are writing to someone who is your relative or friend then writing from the heart matters a lot as per my view.
