Focus on proper qualifying the needs of the customer to match his needs with the product you're selling. then you present and demonstrate the benefits and features of the product. Now it's time to close the selling and get the orders. If not, get back to the qualifying process again and again by asking questions to get to know exactly the needs of the customer
I agree on the previously given answers. I would tend to ask for feedback, what's the reason you are not buying my product? how should my product improve to serve you better? what are alternative suppliers offering you?
Reduce the price, introduce settlement discount, bulk and trade discount
He should review the product to know if the quality has declined, and also find out if the competitors sales at a lower price
If the sales person doesn't get orders, then he has to look out who is getting the orders and why. What best the other company or the other sales person are doing?
Personally to Mr. Navid Rafiq and the people following your religion is that ask much more Istighfaar from Allah Subhanahu Wa Ta'ala and the minimum to be1000 times in a day. Surah Yaseen in the morning and evening will be much effective for such sales person.

Keep faith on hard work and convince Customer by fulfilling their needs.
A professional sales person doing hard work and working on his daily call cycle on a weekly basis for existing customers will for sure get orders( thats regarding existing customers). if you mean orders as if more orders to increase sales, or he should increase the number of items that the existing customer can take from him or he is not doing the prospection process which means visiting and approching new customers with the items he sells, updating every approach and every single thing that helps him to get the deal(samples,current supplier the approached customer is dealing with....)
