While creating a logo in Adobe Photoshop it must be on multiple layer so after finishing it save it as .eps so you can open it on Adobe Illustrator as vector format.
Using a vector software like Adobe Illustrator to convert/create a logo is ideal. If given enough time, manually tracing the logo would be preferable than using the 'image trace' option which could compromise certain designs.
Vectors are preferably to be created by illustrator, so if you have the time re-create your logo by it.
The best way of converting a Photoshop logo to a Vector is to re - create it using Illustrator, that mean you should draw it again from scratch.
The best and cleanest way is to draw it from scratch using Adobe Illustrator.
Using illustrator, insert your image onto a new layer underneath your original logo image, and use the pen tool, set it to0.25 in size, and select the small dot icon in the brushes palette.
Then just trace over your image, and the lines you create will smooth themselves out and look just like a vector after your finished, just hide the original layer, and you are just left with your amazing vector
