How do you describe management responsibilities for successful implementation of cGMP practices?

Would like to get views on management actions / approach for planning, execution and sustaining GMP Practices at workplace in manufacturing operations.

should have a very clear understanding of responsibilities of all stake holders / team members.  It should also be ensured that every individual responsible is fully aware of his responsibilities and should also possess requisite potential to perform/deliver to the required standards.

All necessary facilities for GMP are provided, including

  • Appropriately qualified and trained personnel
  • Adequate premises and space
  • Suitable equipment and services
  • Appropriate materials, containers and labels
  • Approved procedures and instructions;
  • Suitable storage and transport;
  • Adequate personnel, laboratories and equipment for in-process controls

A) Products are designed and developed in a way that takes account of the requirements of GMP.

B) Production and control operations are clearly specified in a written form and GMP requirements are adopted.

cGMP practices need to be mapped with management strategic plan/objective to evaluate integration success.

 

Mapping include objectives/roles/process control to ensure KPIs are met.

To accelerate the implementation of cGMP practices-

  • Rule To Role-based- Higher efficiency will be reached if the mindset of the management change.
  • Quantifying measures - To reach the target there should be a mechanism on a day-to-day performance basis to track the desired result.
  • Internet or digitalization - There should be the proper infrastructure of digital penetration so that the right information is reached in quick accessible time.
  • Goal to Process orientate- Management should move from Goal and should put more emphasis on the process of implementation.
  • Bottom To Top - There should be a mechanism where the grass-root level views should considered to overcome any form of hurdles.

Creating a stimulating work environment based on self-monitoring And performance measures that are activated periodically to obtain a correct assessment of individual skills and to conduct preparation and qualification courses for the workforce
