How would a teacher deal with a new student who has just transferred in from a province a different official language was being used?

By first learning what kind of language they are speaking and try maybe speaking with a bit of expression and see if they understand,place the student in group of peers who may speak the same language and help them in learning the language used in school.

 

Individual difference teaching for the child alone and get to know what the child desire

Engaging him/her in group learning to build there confidence first..then you getting them talking in class teachings.

The teacher should draw back to her/his methods bank and choose the most suitable method in order to transfer what the kid needs from her/him.

He tries as much as possible to make the teaching comparative in the sense of using terms from his own language to make it easier for him to understand what you are saying only at the beginning and then explain in one language only with a little explanation in the other language

The teacher should draw back to her/his methods bank and choose the most suitable method in order to transfer what the kid needs from her/him. If there is language barrier between them, then should invite the of the child through the school management to tackle the issue wholisticlly.

Give a course or training for new language.

The teacher should put a plan to engage this student in the new environment and provide more efforts and private more times for this student during the school day to adapt new skills and put this student in with excellent peer to help him engage easily with new environment

Teachers are very amazing most of the time, they easily know who to deal with new students. Speaking from experience, during my primary school days in class 6, our teacher got two students from Senegal, a neighboring country to my country whose official language is French unlike my country and after just one term in class he adapted so fast that he was among the top students in our class. The teacher used to give him special attention understanding his background and situation.

I will help them in communicating and teaching them an easy way to understand this foreign language.
