What type of delays are encountered in a construction related project?

Many types of delays may be encountered in a construction projects viz; procurement of construction materials, equipment and manpower scheduling, delayed payments, scarcity of certain materials in the local market, adverse physical conditions, .......Etc.

Anticipating such delays is usually handeled through good project planning taking into considerartion the preparation risk management plan.

If the Construction materials supply delaye or the materials are not availavle in local market. Man power, machineries and equipments are not available as per requirement when required. If there is any problem in construction drawing. If any accident occured in the construction site. Utility Connection like Water supply Gas, Electricity etc.
