Hello Sir! What are the main activities in stores and warehouse and what's the difference between store and warehouse?

Stores is the space set aside for safe keeping of raw materials, components or semi finished goods before going for production purposes. This is the place where all the items needed for production are kept including repairs and maintenance kits. 

Warehouse is that space made ready for safe keeping of finished products by the the manufacturer ready for distribution to the retailer. Mainly this is where the large volumes of goods be it components, finished goods and semi finished goods can be safely kept for a certain agreed period.
