if The question is about power quality then we can speak about the standards controlling the quality of the power that must be fed to the customors. there are many power quality issues that can affect the quality of supplied Voltages and currents. these problems can be sited shortly as:
1- short duration voltage variation
2-voltage interruption (less than10% of the nominal value of supplied voltage)
3- frequency variations
4- voltage sags and swells
5- unbalanced voltages
6- current and voltage harmonics
7-reactive power
So the power quality is a measure of how much the current and voltage (electrical power ) meet the international standards concerning the RMS value , frequency, and balance of the voltages in addition to the amount of harmonic distortion of the voltage and current.
