Which one is more used in the world, SAP or ORACLE and why?

SAP because it is easy fast and better

I did not used the both, but i guess SAP Has a Bigger market that Oracle. MS Dynamics Also has a progressive evolution and it take an important part of it.

Maybe beacause SAP Was one the first that developed this technology and gave it a real ERP Software with clear caracteristics.

SAP has a larger customer base compared to its competitors. 

SAP has currently a larger customer base as Oracle. The reason is mainly because it has the largest number of specialized modules, making in it applicable in almost all types of businesses.

SAP CRM has wide industry adoption..and i think this would be "future's" ERP.

IN BRitish Council, we are using SAP ERP system in more than100+ countries. As per SAP website following is their claim:

"Headquartered in Walldorf, Germany, with locations in more than130 countries, SAP AG is the world leader in enterprise software and software-related services.*  "

Offcourse it is SAP. It has designed different industry specfic templates to fit each industry needs such IS OIL, IS Retail, IS REALESTATE, textile, cable, media, automobile, aerospace and many more apart from that it is very user friendly, can easily communicate with different3rd party system, web applications etc..

SAP has a larger (if not the largest) user-based, market share application compared to Oracle nowadays. 

while starting using SAP and getting to know more about it, i found it more compatible for any size, nature and working of organization. Reason being there are more modules then any other ERP as well as the ABAP mobule can easily shape the requirement of the user as per the demand, 

At the First there is diffrent between Oracle and SAP, SAP developes systems and solutions for industries ERP solutions, and Healthcare solutions and others, at the same way oracle have solutions, plus oracle have grate RDBMs in the world and other solutions like High Avalability and oracle have Hardware Products, and (Hardware + software) solutions, and don't forget the OS Solaris, the oracle trend is diffrent of SAP trend and The both have Common trend. I think SAP have bigger market than oracle in ERP solutions.

For me SAP is more used than ORACLE because it has largest number of specialized modules
