In site. Because you will learn to manage and deal with different kind person which obviously have a different kind of personality too. It will teach you how to become a good team leader and test your decision making skills

Both have their advantages but I think working on site will provide you more insight in the engineering field.

I tend to think working on site is more useful Cause we could know how to deal with others and gain more insight of what you are doing .
