First of all you have to know who is you going to sell to. Knowing you customer desires would help you to influence their decision. Second, your relationship with your customer would keep them for a long life time term. For salesperson skills, you have to be apple to answer every question that the customer ask you. Which means you have to know every detail about the product you selling. Also you have to be able to make them think about what you selling and why is it the best of all the product. Sorry for the long answer, but that what I feel Is the most important things based on my experience.

- First knowing your product and industry extremely well, all technical aspect, anecdotes, story telling, stocks, history and all details about it. 

- Second to be a good listener and study the client, listen to his need and orientate accordingly.

- Third, to be very well groomed, use the proper vocabulary and elegant manners with a smile - because luxury is detail and detail is luxury.

- Fourth to use sales techniques to upsale, propose additional sales, convince, resist discount.
