Showrooms have to be designed to give customers lots of ideas for every area of the home including your kitchen, bedroom and living room. While some of customers come to for a day out to get inspiration for every room, we should appreciate that others may have looked at catalogue or online offer, have a specific shopping list in mind and would like to get in and out quickly.

Appearance. It is very true what everyone say’s in terms of the first impression is a lasting impression! This is not just true in personal aspects but in business situations as well. If someone walk’s into a department store that has great prices but garbage on the floor, a bad smell in the air and items thrown all over the shelves and on the floor, what are the chances that they will return just based on the low prices? Very slim to none unless the prices are almost % discounted which is highly unlikely.

In my experience with furniture I would narrow it down to4  simple things things that usually get good results.

 

It is true to say that First Impressions matter and it is indeed what  lures the walk in customer but more important is having the customer return and be a marketing pillar and advertiser. For any customer to do that there are two very basic things he desires one quality in terms of durability and finish and two the cost. ( No Shortage of examples of many such successful rags to riches start ups) 

However many customers are not of a caliber to see the potential of a furniture piece hence require the right background to help them envision what exactly they are paying for and its potential to enhance their habitat i,e their home.

 

Fourthly - Maintenance/Customer Dealing. No process is perfect hence in case of positive or negative feedback the client management must be top notch and maintenance or after sales service provided should be prompt and welcoming. That usually seals the deal.
