On the contrary, persuasion is needed in public relations to send your message and to convince the other party in what you believe.

Persuasion is an effective tool of public relations and is always welcome.

In some cases you may find that the other party feels irritated when you constantly tried to persuade him, but in all cases, persuasion is always rewarding and brings desired results if you have the patience.

By persuasion, you mean changing the attitude or behaviour of your target audience ? Most of what we communicate is to inform and persuade.

It is not whether it is right or wrong, what matters is how it is done. Has it been done due to ignorance or intention.

One can persuade others by giving insufficient & wrong information or by hiding critical information. Marketers use the knowledge of psychology to persuade people by fear, greed, pride or various other methods.

IT depends on the value you create for the consumer of the message. Remember, human beings are highly political and we survive or thrive by persuading others.

All pr work is persuasion although the degree of intensity differs from situation to situation. However, PR is not as persuasive as advertising is in which you persuade to switch brand loyalty, try a ndew product orv simply keep consuming the old one.......

Persuasion can either be on the positive or negative, that is if the one persuading is trying to convince another to indulge in  bad actions. it is positive when one is shown with options that are legally right and acceptable to choose from.

PR work is very persuasive because people most times tends to believe that for the very fact that you have good knowlege of what ever you introducting to them, and if they percieve maybe you are a good person, they will indeed want to go with your option for real.

From my experience I would say that when interacting with other people, one should never ''persuade'' anyone to do anything. The key is to present all the possible options to the interested party in the best way and let them decide. When you are asked to give your advice, you still have to remain impartial, making it clear however that you have the other person's interests at heart. Be genuine and honest has always being my way.

In negotiation practices, one should definitely stand their ground. In case a compromise is necessary, both parties have to be willing to do so.
