Why new recruits still want to burn the steps and enter the most important positions in the earliest possible date ?

The simple answer is a feeling of entitlement. Young people today want the best in life with the least amount of work. Working hard is no longer the ethos instilled in society. It is not the right attitude however, earning a position through hard work is the only way to ensure that a person will be able to carry out their responsibilities to the standard required.
