Be a part of the team and work hard
al the team will challenge you and work like you or more
I like to take care of them. This means to make them feel useful, and I listen to them. This doesn't means to be his friend. I like to make them feel happy in their jobs but also to be ambitious and ask for more. Also economical incentives can be interesting. To be employee of the month or things like that don't fill my stomach. It reminds me to school.
First of all i have to find good target for this challenge and i like to be one of compatator in this challenge which will encurage them to do there best to challenge me and i am sure that i will get best of them in this work
Very challenging question. There are several ways to motivate your team to work harder for better results and performance of the organisation.
1. Organise the work in target driven.
2. Give incentives for Best performance.
3. Such as Employee of the month, Quarter and Employee of the year.
4. Conduct performance appraisals and appreciate the HIGHEST performer in public.
5. Discuss the team progress with your team and ask for suggestions.
The above steps would definitely improve the productivity of your team.
there are many ways to motivate my team
1- specify the target and put a reward for the best one
2- motivational speaking to give them the power for progress
3- be the idol for them by start the work as the first one
This is an interesting and thought provoking question, I can say from experience that simply challenging employees alone may not guarantee that they will work harder and be more productive, but some other actions may also be needed to achieve the required results, such as:
- Identify what motivates each team member, because what motivates one member is different from what motivates another, and use it for each.
- When assigning challenging tasks to team members, make sure you mentor and coach them through.
- Ensure that appropriate feedback systems are in place to help employees improve and be able to face challenges.
- Understand individual differences of team members and this may help to design challenging tasks to match each team member’s skills and interests.
- Have a reward system in place to appreciate and recognize the good performance and this will motivate employees to complete challenging tasks.
- Have also an equal and fair pay in place, the thing which leads to job satisfaction and retention of talents who are able to complete the challenging assignments.
- Immediately praise employees for the good performance and this will be a good motivation tool that shows you care for them, and appreciate their contributions, and this praise should not be delayed till the annual or semiannual appraisal.
- Set hard but attainable goals and this will be challenging for employees to do their best to achieve results.
- Ensure that appropriate working conditions are available in the work place to encourage employees to achieve the required challenging results.
- Develop a system of combined jobs and Job rotation and these are also great tools used to get people learn variety of skills that enable them achieve the required accomplishments
- Identify and improve skills that employees need to complete the challenging tasks.
- Create a competitive environment by dividing team into groups and assign part of the goal for each group.
Finally, we should say that it is not an easy task to get employees inspired and motivated to achieve challenging results, but doing each of these actions day after day may get you accustomed to them and get the challenging tasks completed. Thank you
Productivity depends on many aspects, including the quality, motivation, training and tools available to your team. You can hire more experienced or talented people, get better managers, or provide them with better tools. However, that's in the future. The challenge today is how to get more from my existing team?
Improving productivity is possible if you first measure it. When your teams spend hours in front of the PC to deliver your company's products and services, it is hard to know how much productive work is happening. Coming up with {Key Performance Indicator} KPIs or metrics is one way, but they are hard to measure, often debatable, and not uniform across teams. More importantly, they tell you who are your strong and weak performers, but if they are already doing their best, how can productivity improve? Having said that, you should continue with measuring KPIs to know which people need assistance to improve.
