It depends on the field in which this process is taking place. So in general I belive it should start with introducing the new environment to the new learners and make them familliar with the bold lines of it. But with all my respect, I don't believe that we can start with them by "forgetting what you know and your past experiences and start the new learning" like what one of the collegues suggested, otherwise why we ask for the experienced employees? Because I believe that the main goal is to implement the new learners experiences in the the company or the institution's experience itself.
Grasping the general mood of the place, its system, its people, its goals and vision and trying to become a part of this.
As teachers or what? This is due to the two processes of " teaching & learning". The two processes imply adminstrative staff and not only teachers.
if as teacher, the first is analyzing the situation of institution and the learners' background.

i think we have to learn from international schools how to teach children ( the meaning of team work )
the main purpose of learning is ( we teach children to be able to get job in the future in high school ) , in middle east , , we only study to be educated only.
now what we need to do , is( we need to develope a good plan ) , do we need to encarage student to study (scientific field like computers , petrol, industry, Engeneering ) , do we need to study ( acting , drawing music )
Clean up your mind, forget your past experiences and begin the NEW learning wth focus listening.
It’s very difficult to the new person in new environment to give complete and effective demonstration so, at first you have to build self confident and have to learn and know the new learners. The Atmosphere, Salary, Management, Team work may effect the new teacher so, the management have to make sustain environment, if it is so, then you have to start you work as you are perfect and delicate in your profession or teaching. You have to be smart, honest, delicate, strong subjective knowledge and strong demonstration.
Education and manner come together so to give active performance you have to adjust in the institution’s rule and regulations and have to think for the welfare of students as well as institution.
The most imprtant thing is to create an Appropriate Learning Environment That
Promotes Learner Independence
1- Guide learners to be active and independent by asking such questions as
— So…how would you do that?
— How would you find that information?
— How would you remember that information?
— How did you figure that out?
2- Involve learners in how they learn.
3- Design instruction around the interests and everyday needs of learners.
4- Remember that adult learners bring knowledge and past experience
with them. They have insight into how they learn, compensate for difficulties, and find success.
5- Encourage learners to keep track of their progress.
6- Reinforce the learning by providing continuing opportunities for practice and by giving immediate and frequent feedback.
This is what will make you begin to identify the learners, their personalities and their mental and psychological needs that may help you in the planning of how to deal with them

My first step will be to study the goals and objectives of the new institution so that I can stream line my teaching and learning process with them. My aim would be to become an active team member to fulfill the institutional goals.
Learning their rulesm curriculum, books and students
My first step in teaching learning process in new institution will be the study of socialization, mentality, intelectuality and motivation of students, classroom environment and curriculum of institution.
