KPIs (Key Performance Indicators) can be thought of as a measure of output.  For example, in telesales a KPI might be the average number of calls made per day or the average number of calls required to obtain a lead.  KPIs answer questions like "how did things go yesterday?"

CSF (Critical Success Factors) on the other hand, are an input.  They answer questions like, "What do we need to do tomorrow to be successful?"  The CSF might be to optimise sales from the telesales team.

The CSF's(Critical Success Factor) is basically understanding the cause of success, identifying what are steps and procedures to be successful and KPI's (Key Performance Indicator) is evaluating and monitoring the effect of your action. Once you identified clearly what are your CSF's you might be like achieving your KPI's.
