Is it better to go to CIF or CIP in while procurement?

Basically we are dealing in International Bidding and have some querries so i need the expert opinion on this.

I prefer CIF which will be the best for the buyer because the risk will be less than CIP, and the insurance will be covered till the goods are delivered to buyer warehouse/destination.
