What are some of the must-watch movies of all time?

There are so many movies that I could put down here, but really what makes a movie a must watch? A movie that everyone likes? A classic? A movie can be about anything but it'll only matter to you if it relates to you, so even if the movie is perfect in every aspect (in my opinion), it might not be perfect to you. Just keep that in mind.

My must watch movies:

5. The Shining (Thriller/Horror)
6. Citizen Kane (Drama)
7. Little Miss Sunshine (Comedy/Drama) 
8. Spirited Away (Animation)
9. Paths of Glory (War/Drama)
10. Millennium Actress (Animation/Drama)

This is of course a very short list of some of my favourite movies, and it is of course very biased (especially in the favour of one particular director: Stanley Kubrick).
