Books are always best friends for the knowledge you get by reading , you can use it for practical implementation. But I would say only book knowledge is not enough. A person should also use his/her observation skills to excel in the area of administration and supervision.

Books gives you knowledge and concepts.  That will help to do the job.  But the real experience is when you do the job.  So, try to get a mentor if you want to learn something on the job.  That really helps and get more insights which no book covers.

No, Book knowledge is similar to the Planing but when we implement the planing part on particle ground found lot's of challenge  and failure.   

book knowledge teach how to work, skills you earn in reward by reading books. Art if understanding and implementation. So just keep it up. new and worse things ever gives good experience and way to tackle the situation. So ever welcome new challenges and ready for (Brain Storming)...Administration is easy may be as Army but trend is shifting now need to use any other term mixture of ADMN, HR, Finance & Marketing....Find out please

I think no its not enough there should be an experience for example I have a book knowledge and still studying at college but bcz I don't have experience can not find a work so I think experience is more important
