Provide Access to Live Events Snapchat is perfect for real-time social media marketing because it can give the audience direct access to live events. You can use it for product launches, trade shows or one-of-a-kind events like the1,th customer to shop in your store. Snapchat gets your audience excited because you’re providing a different, more authentic view of what’s going on at the event. The NBA has used Snapchat in a variety of ways including at the Draft, All-Star Game and Finals. At the All-Star Game, the NBA launched their presence on Snapchat, and fans were able to watch videos from L.A. Clippers star Chris Paul, and up-close snaps of the Slam Dunk Contest.

I don't personally recommend using Snapchat for the brand itself. I'd rather recommend using Snapchat popular figures and social media specialists to advertise the brand in a more personalised manner using their own snapchat accounts.

I believe that only Snapchat cannot be effective for this. It must be used together with other social media such as Facebook, Instagram, and Twitter. You should ask your followers to add you on Snapchat this way you can provide them with interesting content continously. For example if you are into fashion, and you are doing a shooting for your new collection you can share behind the scenes photos and videos with your fans immediately. It's more personal, faster, and more real than any other social sites so the fans can feel that they are not just following you but they can see your experience from the front line. Not like the perfectly edited content that you share on other sites.If you are organising an event for example you can send around a private Snap to your friends to let them know what's happening, this way they are gonna be updated or reminded asap.If you are a lifestyle blogger and you are your own brand, Snapchat is a key app for you to keep it real. Adding Snaps to your story several times a day let your fans know that you don't just speak about a certain lifestyle but you are actually living it.

In USA Snapchat it's used a lot. If in your region Snapchat its not used so much and if your brand can generate a lot of promos from teasing, events (pre/post-event), conferences, social movements and so on you can start a trend. How? Promote your brand on Facebook or on the high used social platform used in your region and on Snapchat. Use the first social platform (in most of cases Facebook) to promote your Snapchat posts and rule on Snapchat. People will start to heard about you and in the same time they will start to heard about Snapchat. If they will appreciate this new social platform (snapchat) they will associate it with your brand. If they wont appreciate this new social platform (snapchat) they will see you a fashionable and trend makers because you bring a awesome tool of market in that region. So Snapchat its really powerful for brands if you can generate interesting content. Start curiosity on your primary social media platform and hit hard on Snapchat.
