There are many ways to source  suppliers.

1. Inviting proposal for category wise registration of suppliers at the beginning of each year through advertisement in News Paper.
2. The procurement officer can visit trade fairs which are organised in the city and could get a fair idea of the several product and their suppliers and then inviting the suppliers for registration.
3. Through published trade directory- a lot  of  the  suppliers name are found in trade directory with simple product description. Upon initial inquiry, suppliers may be called for an interview and then registered accordingly.
