First of all, I will give him or her warm welcome and an open conversation it with start with the what or how i can help. Then secondly i will call to office if that item is still available same that the customer want in the website, and if still available i will simply take to booked the item and lets take the number of customer then if the shipment is arrived we will call immediately the customer.
sometimes there is broken sizes and we can take her request into consideration that we will follow up he request . Not every thing available on website can be available in store and it may be available upon certain circumstances.
I will give the customer a warm welcome and start the conversation with how can i help her/him, then if the item he/she wants is not available in the store, I will personally re check it myself and call to the other branch of the store to ask if they have that item or call to the office for its available. If not, then I will give her/him another option or recommend another item that is kinda the same to the item that he/she is looking for. Or if she really want that item I will get his/her contact information so that I can inform him/her if the item is available already.
