CRM can be used once the company has developed a database for customers.

CRM can be used in various ways to develop ones business:

- it can be used to evaluate customers' preferences and based on findings promote relevant items.

- it can be used to identity customers' needs, and  thus tackle them.

- it can be used to create a more personalized experience for the customer.
