It is always possible.Processes must be designed to flag those who attempt unfaithful actions.

Everything is possible in this world. Some people link the faithfulness of the employee with lower rumuneration which might be one of the reason but not in most of the cases. An employee might go unfaithful when he has some of sort of guarantee that he can evade his fraud. Weak internal controls, poor delegation of authority & responsibility & centralisation can enhance the chances that an employee might go unfaithful. Too much power can corrupt even the faithful so the responsiblites needs to be divided e.g. one person processing the transaction the second person recording the transaction & the third person authorising the transaction, A weak internal control exposes an organisation to material frauds & stong internal controls can work as a deterrent. The directors of large companies like ENRON, LEHMAN BROTHERS, WORLDCOM & Arthur Anderson didnot had rumuneration problem, it was weak internal controls, communication gap between shareholders & directors, poor corporate governance practices that allowed directors to go unfaithful & brought failure to these giant organisations.

the only reason employees become unfaithful is DIS-SATISFACTION . if an employee feels he is being deprived from his rights in terms of salary, carrer development, job satisfaction or other benefits, with time his loyalty would start decreasing and if no appropriate action would be taken by employer, the employee's non-satisfaction would result into unfaithfulness of him towards his employer.
