Irrespective of the gender, change is difficult ( in the short term) to manage. For eg. if you are right handed person, try writing using your left hand ( and vice versa) . I think there are no gender related change management studies, that can prove one is better than the other.
From my perspective, each would fit at certain management role depending on the business.
