I think fruit and vegetable sun drying (dehydration) unit,would be very rewarding specially in southern areas of Jordan.

the idea is based on good marketing and channeling of final out put.

as the financial income tightened, many families will look at buying dried fruit as an attractive option.

cost of sun-drying unit is low, approxinmatly 1000 JD. per 100 m.sq.

operation will depend on the management.

Any business which can empower the people of those areas can be started - depending upon the local requirements is a great business to start in rural areas.

As for the best business in rural areas, it is no doubt that there are different areas lacking in rural areas, whatever its location, but there are some areas that can be mainly required in those areas, and most important: -

- Nursing Medicine

- Skirtarih and customer services

- Accounting and Project Management

- Engineering and artifacts: Decoration

The most prominent of those areas required mainly in various countries and the countries of the world..

In My Opinion Best Business in Rural Areas could be -

 

1. Opening a Water Refill Station.

2. Transportation Agency.

3. Manufacturing CO.

4. Provision Store.

5. Fuel Station.

 

Jordan's major source of income revolves around agriculture, trade and commerce, tourism, transportation and communication, construction, mining, finance and manufacturing.

Jordan is known to be one of the largest producer and exporter of Phosphate in the world and also it has the5th largest oil shale reserves in the world.

Thanks very much for the invite. As I don't know much about the country I cannot say many. What I advise you to do is to see the gaps and try to fill them. But remember to take seriouse steps before deciding on any venture and try by any means to quantify everything that comes to consideration.
