It depends on the job you are looking for. Again most jobs require a greater range of skill. While being an expert or professional in Microsoft Office is definitely an asset you need a greater range of skills. Most jobs require more than being a professional at Microsoft office. This is only one skill subset. Remember when entering the job market you are always competing with others. I don't think it will guarantee you a job but it will benefit you.
