I dont think it is more important - yoga and pilates are important ways of stretching your muscles to assist in recovery and also to help understand how your body works and how you can isolate individual muscles when carrying out other styles of training. It will help less mobile clients increase felxibility and balance. Not everyone feels the need to strength train - even though that offers the most effective results in body composition training. Different styles of training suit different people. The main thing is that we encourage people to be more active and find a style of exercise that suits them, they enjoy and will have a better chance of keeping up.
I know a couple of good bodybuilder/yogis who insist that they have a synergistic effect i.e. the yoga makes you a better fitness/bodybuilding trainer and vice versa.
