Which do you use for furniture design, Solidworks or AutoCAD?

Autocad is more faster than solidwork in this part .
Autocad has its work and solidwork has another .

both can used for furniture design, that is depends on the familiarity of the designer.
which one he likes to use.

AutoCAd this is ok however I would use Autodesk Inventor very similar to Solidworks, however Autodesk Inventor has some slightly better features when it comes to creating your models and engineering drawings also exporting bill of materials.
And importing data from and external source using what are known as illogic rules to update custom properties for better parts control.

solidworks

Wecan design furniture designs easily in Solidworksrather than Autocad which is non parametric.

It is very easy to make assembly drawing & parts drawing in Solidworks.

If your PC qualification are Good than Soldiworks are best for your Furniture Design.
