What are some great interview questions that will help prepare me for a tough web development job interview, which focuses on HTML and other web development tools?

I am really sorry to say that interviewer would consider HTML just a toy language and won't ask much question. May be they will ask questions like  

• What's the difference between Html5 and older specifications of html?
• What is Doctype
• Why we put style sheet in the head but JavaScript in the bottom of html document.

If they are really interested in asking Html focused questions than they should ask.

• How to make html content accessible ( so that people with the disability of hear, vision could access your website content)
• Why web standards matters

You should prepare yourself from defending your previous web or app projects, the tools you've used to make it, if you are in a team, explain your participation and the scope of your work on a particular project. If you are going to share your tech skills, get ready with your working samples. Interviewer especially in an IT company, showing some tangible examples of what you can do will make a difference among other candidates. Be ready with some actual hands on and practical questions, some might be tricky but use some common sense.

recently we using Html 5 with Css3 and using notepad + to reduce our time more than working with other developing tools .I Learning that scripting and sesigning be the same part to give the website or webpage perfection apart from that we include more stylish patterns that are used previously .somebody said that javascript was must ,yes,but the person must need to know how to use the web page .they are not involved to know about what was done on backend of the web page.every one who learn web developing courses must wants to know about WHAT IS HTML?

If you want to know his/her skill much better focus on what's programming language skill he/she have. Html, css is more on display or design. The programming language like php, c#, is a processing to express algorithms.

the way we combine both of them to develope an website....it became difficult to understand how a tag or code works when used in a diffrent environment
