dont wait to tell them , just perform it go and hit the role and by time they will depend on you in it and you will get the title and the package , your achievement is your best rep.
First of all adopt communication ways that are there e.g. posts are advertized within Org. and employees apply against these.
Second step or in case above does not exist first step will be to invariably approach your immediate and next higher controlling supervisors well prepared to present your case.

since interviews nowadays come in various methods, which includes application of knowledge, an indidvidual who intends to inform the management about their high performance should work his way by applying his/her knowledge into it. Besides that, he/she should not be afraid of voicing out their capabilities in performing in their jobs. They should build up this trusting relationship by communicatiing in an efficient way by expressing their capabilities and skills so that the management could read their capabilities/skills and consider it. it is all about impressing the management in a creative way.
First of all I should make a CV and application, and attach my qualification, experience certificates & citizenship certificate, etc. and sbmit through proper channel (it means; through my first boss, he gives me a covering letter and No Objection Certificate), then I will submit my application & orther documents to the employing authorities.
If I deserve a higher post certainly the higher management will recognise that. I should show with my work by taking additional responsiblities that I can handle a more challanging job. I can tell of the innitatives taken in the next Internal job posting (IJP) intervew. This is the only way. One should never refuse any additioanla work delegeted by your Supervisor.
