doesn't matter what you sell ( product \\ service ) , customer is customer , then you should follow these steps :

1- frequently call by your out bound team or by yourself if you are sales person .

2- always try to encourage him \\ her by inform him \\her that he chose the correct product \\ service .

3- try to solve or \\ and answer any problem \\ question that he \\ she has about the product .

4- visit him \\ her try to explain the new offers of your company , and what is the gig difference between your product and other competitive products .

5- don't forget to tell him \\ her about the new product launch , even he \\she is not interested , that will let him \\ her fell that he is important for you and always you care him even he \\ her doesn't pay money .

these steps will lead your customer to follow you and always want to buy your products

Most important is 'feedbacks'. Every interaction of your company rep with your customers/clients must be followed by 'appropriate' feedback. And if there are any concerns, it must be addressed and brought to common agreeable ground. This will retain the trust of customer and thereby loyalty which is long term. 

Next is 'delight'. Delight your customers with special act or offer will make them feel overwhelmed about your service and brand.

Another important part is 'never force sell' to your customers that is do not try to push your sales to your good customer this would turn them off and might even loose the credibility of brand.
