What are the communication skills that will help sales representatives improve their abilities to make a great sales pitch to clients that don't speak their language?

First of all, sales person if he \\ she doesn't know his \\ her clients language well, there is no need to contact the client.

If he \\ she knows the language, he \\ she can do the following:

Most important steps in communication skills for sales person:

  • Always, when he \\ she visit the client company, uniform should be worn, that reflect company ethics and how sales person respect the clients. Or there is no uniform, formal suit will be preferred.
  • Do not force him\\he, but always give him\\her your opinion or point of view which will lead him to get his\\her right decision to buy your product.
  • Do not smoke before the meeting with him\\her, if he \\ she does, do not prevent him \\ her.
  • Try to study and\\or know enough information about him \\ her before the meeting with him\\her , i.e. ( what he\\she likes and what doesn’t , married or not , has children , has a car , if he\\she foreign ; from which country , what he\\she  always prefer to use inline with your kind of your products …)
  • Don’t be hesitated during the meeting, always you should lead the meeting and always ready to answer any question, even you do not know the answer.
  • Try to meet him\\her out of his\\her out of his office, but if it is necessary try to be the person who dominates on the discussion.
  • Try to explain all your product properties, privileges, benefits, and compare your product with other exciting competitive products in the market, and inform your client why he should get your product. In self-confidence is the suitable way of communication skills.
  • Do not forget after sales service to maintain the relation with your clients.
  • Do not forget to be optimistic with your client and always draw the smile on your face.
  • Do not forget to give your client samples of your product even he\\she doest buy.
  • It is very important to give the potential client your Business Card; if he\\she doesn’t buy today he will call you some day and buy.
  • Your attitude always should be smart, that is mean you should have interpersonal skills, wide general information.
  • Finally, you must believe and trust your product; in order to do you job well.

A sales man is a person who has immense skill on how to sell a product to anyone though their is a communication gap or language barrier , he has more than enough skill to achieve his targets and also to satisfy his customers . Delegate often exposed to people of clients in order to communicate with them depending on the tone, language, and when Idn should be fit for his actions in front of them and show them the credibility to deal strong with them and his relationship and motivation to take the quantities more in a product that sells for when the relationship is based on sincerity and commitment will not let you down customer and then you will succeed in sales management to achieve the desired goal

Face to face communication, always keep smile on your face, understand the company, their requirement, always appreciate for their decision, fix appointment prior to visit,  not to provide any complain or negative points or disadvantage of competitors product or service rather do provide comparison sheet with our product s/service. Do have confidence, be honest, hard worker. keep good personal relationship, use simple and good language, apply good perfume, do not talk too much.

You  must know your product and competitor products and their pricing and over above you should be aware of the technical features and difference between & advantages over competitor products. you must believe and trust your product; in order to close your deal.
