Do you encourage your boss that you need trainings?

Many employees fear approaching their boss regarding personal training. As they fear the boss might discover the lack of talents in the employee. I have always found approaching the boss in the mind set of "how such training would improve work flow and promote innovation". Focus more on the positive such training would bring, rather than focusing on the self negatives.  

Its very important to get good views about our job from the managers. So it will help us to gain more knowledge in our job.
